Hi, I am Marilyn Bulario-Escober. Most of my colleagues and clients call me Len. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Management degree in 2000. Later in 2011, I attended Graduate School and earned 12 Units in Master in Business Administration (MBA).
While working in the local industry, I gained knowledge and experiences related to the following positions: Scheduler in a manufacturing firm, QA/QC Clerk, Administrative Assistant, Accounting Officer, and Human Resource Officer.
I started my journey in freelancing in the year 2010 due to health reasons. My first work was more on photo editing. Later on, I got data entry, research jobs, and virtual assistance jobs. Since I would like to offer more services to my clients, I started to learn WordPress until I was able to develop websites using the said platform. Afterward, I also learned about Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
However, since 2016, I’ve done freelancing as my part-time job because I returned from working in the local industry. But for the same health reason, I have to resign from work again. And now, I decided to work as a full-time freelancer.
What does a Virtual Assistant do?
- Social Media Management. Indeed, from that training, I learned social media management, lead generation, copywriting, including image content and FB ads creation, basic graphic design using Canva, and short video creation.
- Search Engine Optimization(SEO). I enrolled in in-depth SEO training. And I am confident that this training will equip me with the necessary skill for digital marketing. It entails analysis and strategies in doing SEO that can help increase organic traffic to a website. It can make a website visible on search engine results pages(SERP).
- Amazon Virtual Assistant. From this training, I have learned Amazon Business Models and how to do competitors’ analysis. I gained knowledge and training on using Amazon tools like Helium 10, Keepa and Jungle Scout. And also, I had a deeper understanding on product research and how to find a winning product.
